Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted its third Express Entry draw of the week. Yesterday, the department invited 3,200 candidates under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). The day before, 763 candidates across a PNP-specific draw were invited to apply for permanent residency (PR).
The Express Entry latest draw was held on August 15, 2024. A total of 2,000 invitations were issued to candidates under the French Language Proficiency category. Invited candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 394 to be eligible.
Draw No: #310
Type of draw: French Language Proficiency
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the CRS score cut-off will be based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
If you did not get invited
If you were not invited, your profile will remain active in the Express Entry pool for 12 months from the date of submission. Do not withdraw your application, you may receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in the next Express Entry draw.
Usually, IRCC conducts draws under the Express Entry Program every two weeks - typically on a Wednesday. However, Express Entry draws have followed an unusual pattern throughout 2024. For instance, last month IRCC conducted nine draws that invited a total of 25,125 candidates. This has made it difficult to predict exactly when the next draw will occur.
