Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) held the latest rounds of invitations on April 22, inviting 269 immigrants to apply for a provincial nomination for Canada PR Visa.
Candidates were invited through SINP's International Skilled Worker subcategories - Express Entry and Occupation In-demand. 130 invited immigrants were from Express entry and the remaining 139 were invited from Occupation in-demand.
What are the minimum points required in the latest Saskatchewan PNP draw?
For candidates to be eligible for an invitation irrespective of the sub-categories, they need to score a minimum of 70 points in the SINP points assessment grid. Also, they must have work experience in any one of 59 in-demand occupations in the province.
Express Entry candidates who get a provincial nomination are awarded extra 600 CRS points added to their profile. These many points effectively guarantee an Invitation To Apply (ITA) to apply for a PR Visa.
