Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) held the latest rounds of invitations on April 8, inviting 279 immigrants to apply for a provincial nomination for Canada PR Visa.
Candidates were invited through SINP's International Skilled Worker subcategories - Express Entry and Occupation In-demand. 146 invited immigrants were from Express entry and the remaining 133 were invited from Occupation in-demand.
For candidates to be eligible for an invitation irrespective of the sub-categories, they need to score a minimum of 70 points in the SINP points assessment grid. Also, they must have work experience in any one of 59 in-demand occupations in the province. Some of these SINP in-demand occupations are Educational counselors, medical laboratory technicians, social workers, etc.

Express Entry candidates who get a provincial nomination are awarded extra 600 CRS points added to their profile. These many points effectively guarantee an Invitation To Apply (ITA) to Apply for a PR Visa.
Candidates who don't have an express entry profile can also apply for SINP's provincial nomination through Occupation in-demand subcategory. To apply for this subcategory immigrants are required to create an Expression of Interest (EOI) with the SINPs online portal
