Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) has held its new Expression of Interest (EOI) invitation round. This was the second EOI draw conducted under PEI PNP in November.
The PEI PNP latest draw held on November 16, 2023, saw invitations being issued to 141 candidates under the Labour & Express Entry and Business Work Permit Entrepreneur streams.
*Critical Worker & Express Entry invitations were issued to individuals working for a PEI Employer with a minimum EOI score of 55.
Managed under the PEI PNP, the Critical Worker Stream is a potential Canadian immigration option for workers with a job offer in PEI in an in-demand occupation in Canada categorized into Training, Education, Experience, and Responsibilities (TEER) 4 or 5.
Over the last 12 months, the PEI PNP has issued 2,459 invitations to Labour & Express Entry candidates and 68 invitations to Business Work Permit Entrepreneur candidates.
Candidates wanting to apply for a provincial nomination under the PEI PNP are required to create a profile in the province’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system. Eligible candidates are placed in the pool of qualifying candidates and assigned a CRS score based on their profile. The highest-ranking candidates are invited to submit an application during periodic draws.
The Prince Edward Island PNP (PEI PNP) issues ITAs to eligible candidates on a monthly basis, with some exceptions. The frequency, size, and date of the next Prince Edward Island PNP draw - are determined by the needs of the PEI PNP application inventory and the announced schedule.
