The Prince Edward Island (PEI) Office of Immigration has announced its anticipated Invitation to Apply (ITA) schedule for 2025. The draws aim to align with PEI’s priorities while maintaining efficient processing times for all applicants.

We can expect a total of 11 Prince Edward Island PNP draws in 2025. PEI is the only province of Canada that releases its draw schedules. All the potential applicants can keep a check on the schedule and apply accordingly.

The PEI Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) will continue to review the Expression of Interest (EOI) system monthly throughout 2025. The first PEI PNP draw of 2025 is scheduled to take place on February 20, 2025.

Prince Edward Island PNP in 2024

In 2024, the PEI PNP followed a similar structure, conducting a total of 16 draws in the year 2024 to meet the province's labour market and demographic needs. It issued a total of 1,048 ITAs. The program focuses on attracting skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and graduates who can contribute to PEI’s economy.

Streams under PEI PNP

The PEI PNP operates under various streams, including:

• Labour Impact Category: It is for skilled workers and critical workers with a valid job offer in PEI.

• Business Impact Category: It is for entrepreneurs willing to establish or invest in a business in PEI.

• Express Entry Category: This is for candidates with a federal Express Entry profile who meet PEI's eligibility criteria.
