PEI PNP Latest Draw Invites Foreign Workers and Entrepreneurs

Prince Edward Island has conducted its new draw. This is the first invitation round conducted by the province in December. The province issues ITAs to fulfill its labour shortages.

If you have been invited to the latest PEI PNP draw, you will receive a notification on your registered email, which will include the file number and instructions to apply for PR.

Latest PEI PNP Draw - Results

The latest PEI PNP draw was held on 16 December 2024. It invited a total of 33 candidates under the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur and Labour & Express Entry streams. The minimum score required for Business invitations is 125.

Over the last 12 months, the Prince Edward Island PNP has issued a total of 12 invitations to Business Work Permit Entrepreneur candidates and 1,036 invitations to Labour and Express Entry candidates.

• Business Invitations over the last 12 months - 1%
• Labour Invitations over the last 12 months - 99%

Individuals working in sectors such as Healthcare, Construction, and Manufacturing were targeted in the draw.

PEI PNP - Selection Factors

Prince Edward Island PNP releases its draw to invite skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and international graduates to immigrate to Canada. The selection attributes are as follows:-

• Language: English or French
• Education: level and field of education and where completed
• Skill and work experience level
• Strategic priorities: attributes that would address immediate labour market needs in PEI
• Other factors relevant to employment prospects: include but are not limited to having a job offer in PEI and/or previous Canadian work experience

The first step in the application process is submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) to PEI PNP. If selected, you will receive an invitation to apply for provincial nomination. Currently, 80% of applications under the PEI PNP are being processed within 8-10 months.
