Ontario PNP held a new draw issued 1,186 invitations to the immigration with tech work experience to apply for a provincial nomination for PR Visa.
Express Entry candidates with CRS scores between 453 and 467 points were invited. The OINP has issued invitations to applicants who may be eligible for nomination under the Human Capital Priorities Stream.
Invited candidates will need to demonstrate that they have qualifying work experience in one of the targeted occupations to be nominated for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). These six occupations include the following:
Those who received an invitation now have 45 calendar days to submit their application to the PNP.

Those who receive the Ontario nomination will automatically earn an additional 600 CRS points for their overall score. This boost will effectively ensure that successful applicants receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in a subsequent Express Entry draw.
This is the first technical draw of the year in Ontario. The previous draw for human capital priorities invited Express Entry candidates into targeted professions, especially in finance and healthcare, among others. 6.716 Express entry candidates were invited last year through Human Capital Priorities Stream. This was the largest proportion of all Express Entry PNP applications issued by Ontario in 2020.
How to apply for OINP Tech draw?
The very first step to apply is to create an online express entry profile. Through the OINP tech draw, Ontario invites eligible candidates from the express entry pool for provincial nomination. Applying for a provincial nomination is not the same as applying for Canadian immigration. If the express entry candidate gets a provincial nomination, they can then apply for a PR visa to the IRCC with their nomination.
Once approved by the federal government, these new permanent residents will be able to settle in their careers in Ontario.
