The BC PNP is strategically designed to attract immigrants to areas that will benefit the province.
The BC PNP manages several immigration programs, broadly divided into two categories:
The BC PNP is a point-based immigration system where it uses the BC PNP points calculator to identify immigrants with relevant skills and experience – that can help support & sustain the province’s economy.
The BC PNP points calculator evaluates an immigrant’s profile based on certain factors including Age, Education, Work Experience, Language Proficiency, Adaptability, and Spousal Sponsorship.
Candidates with the highest scores are issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency in British Columbia under a BC PNP draw.
The processing time of the BC PNP can take anywhere between 16 and 18 months. Express Entry linked BC PNP streams process applications significantly faster, i.e., in 6 months.
Located on Canada’s west coast, British Columbia is recognized for the inimitable natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. The province’s economic growth and labor force need to make it a top destination for immigration in Canada.
