Manitoba has conducted a new draw. This was the second invitation round conducted by the province through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
The latest Manitoba PNP draw held on April 24, 2024, invited 327 candidates under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba, International Education Stream and Skilled Worker Overseas categories.
Skilled Worker in Manitoba
(Completed post-secondary study in Manitoba)
International Education Stream
Skilled Worker Overseas
Out of the total 327 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) issued in this latest Manitoba PNP draw, 68 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
This draw came after a pause of over two weeks. The previous Manitoba PNP draw was held on April 09, 2024. Usually, Manitoba PNP draws are held on a bi-weekly basis.
So far in 2024, Manitoba has issued 1,774 LAAs across six MPNP draws.
The latest Manitoba PNP draw is a continuation of the Manitoba issuing high invites with low scores. The back-to-back MPNP draws indicate that the province seeks to increase the number of candidates eligible to receive a provincial nomination under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) streams.
Last year in 2023, Manitoba PNP invited a total of 15,805 candidates across 30 EOI draws. Manitoba has been conducting 2-3 draws almost every month in 2023. The same trend is expected to be carried on for 2024 as well.
