Candidates who wish to live and work in Manitoba must apply for Canada PR under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). Note that there are certain requirements and scoring criteria that can vary over time and may be adjusted depending on the changing needs of the province. Generally, those with higher scores and skills or work experience in occupations listed on the Manitoba In-demand Occupation List are more likely to get an invite to apply for PR.
The province of Manitoba conducts regular draws every week, with a few exceptions. The demand of the provincial nomination application inventor decides the size, frequency, and date of the upcoming draws. As of now, the processing time to immigrate to Canada under MPNP is 8 to 12 months.
