Basics on Manitoba PNP
If you wish to benefit from the Provincial Nominee Program, you must register an expression of interest with the MPNP. This way you will be able to get an LAA through MPNP's Skilled Worker Overseas and Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream.
Manitoba then ranks applicants out of 1000 points based on their human capital factors as well as their ties to Manitoba.
The Skilled Worker Overseas Category and the Manitoba Skilled Worker Streams are designed to allow the province to identify candidates who meet the needs of its labor market.
Applicants from overseas must demonstrate their connection to Manitoba through close family ties, previous experience in Manitoba, or invitation to one of Manitoba's strategic recruitment initiatives. You do not need to be a resident of Manitoba at the time of your application to be eligible.
To receive an invitation to the Manitoba Skilled Worker category, you must have a full-time job offer from a provincial employer.
International graduates who complete their studies in Manitoba may receive an LAA under the International Education stream if they demonstrate that they have in-demand skills.
