Latest Quebec RSWP draw invites 1650 candidates to apply for PR

Quebec’s Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration (MIFI) has conducted another draw. This was the second invitation round conducted by the department in September. Candidates under the Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) were targeted in this draw as well.

If you have been invited in the latest Quebec RSWP draw, you will receive a notification in your Arrima message centre with the information required to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR).

Latest Quebec RSWP Draw - Results

The latest Quebec RSWP draw was held on September 19, 2024. A total of 1,650 candidates from the Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) were invited to apply for permanent selection. The date and time of extraction from the Arrima bank was September 16, 2024, at 6:25 a.m.

The invitations were issued to candidates that met the following criteria:

• They had a level 7 oral proficiency (or higher) in French.
• They had a score equal to or greater than 573 points.

Invitations were also issued to candidates that met the following criteria:

• They had a level 7 oral proficiency (or higher) in French.
• They had a valid job offer outside the territory of Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal.

NOTE: You have 60 days to submit the PR application and pay the processing fee. If this timeframe passes, your invitation will no longer be valid.

Quebec RSWP - Who is eligible?

Profiles under the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) are evaluated based on the selection grid criteria used by the MIFI to assess their eligibility for the RSWP. This includes factors such as

• Age
• Language Proficiency in French and/or English
• Education
• Work Experience
• And other criteria that are specific to the Quebec RSWP.

Candidates with the highest scores in the Quebec Points Calculator are generally selected in a draw. At current processing times, 80% of applications under the Quebec Immigration are processed within 8 to 12 months.
