Latest PEI PNP draw invites 48 Foreign Workers and Entrepreneurs

The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) has conducted a new draw. This was the first invitation round conducted by the province in September.

If you're invited to apply in the latest PEI PNP draw, you'll receive an email with your file number and instructions for submitting your application. You'll need to complete the required application forms, and your employer must fill out the employer forms.

Latest PEI PNP Draw - Results

The latest PEI PNP draw was held on September 20, 2024. A total of 48 invitations were issued to candidates across both PEI PNP streams - Business Work Permit and Labour & Express Entry.

Over the last 12 months, the Prince Edward Island PNP has issued a total of 21 invitations to Business Work Permit Entrepreneur candidates and 1,376 invitations to Labour & Express Entry candidates.

Business Work Permit Entrepreneur invitations over the last 12 months: 2%
Labor & Express Entry invitations over the last 12 months: 98%

PEI PNP - Selection Factors

The Prince Edward Island PNP EOI system gathers important information about candidates in the pool to rank and select those who are most likely to meet Prince Edward Island’s economic and labour market needs, based on one or more of the following attributes:

Language: English or French.
Education: level and field of education and where completed.
Skill and work experience level.
Strategic priorities: attributes that would address immediate labour market needs in PEI.
Other factors relevant to employment prospects: including, but not limited to having a job offer in PEI and/or previous Canadian work experience.

Currently, 80% of applications under the PEI PNP are being processed within 8 to 10 months.
