The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has conducted a new draw under its Express Entry linked streams. This was the first invitation round conducted by the province in September.
The latest Ontario PNP draw targeted candidates from OINP Express Entry’s French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream. If you’ve been invited in this draw, you will receive a notification of interest (NOI) in your Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) online account.
The latest Ontario PNP draw was held on September 05, 2024. A total of 86 candidates from OINP Express Entry’s French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream were invited. These candidates required a CRS score range between 290 and 393 to be eligible for an invitation.
Date of NOIs issued | No. of NOIs issued | CRS score range | Profiles created in the Express Entry system | Notes |
September 05, 2024 | 86 | 290-393 | September 05, 2023 - September 05, 2024 | General Draw |
After you have received an NOI, you may submit an online application for permanent residence to the OINP within 45 days.
Ontario is home to the largest Francophone community in Canada outside of Quebec. The province values immigrants who can contribute to both the economy and its bilingual culture. French-speaking skilled worker immigration plays a crucial role in Ontario's growth, especially in communities where French is widely spoken.
Ontario’s French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream, part of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), helps attract talented Francophones to the province. These workers not only boost economic development but also strengthen Ontario's French heritage.
For immigrants, having French language skills opens doors to a wider range of job opportunities and community connections in the province. This makes Ontario a key destination for French-speaking workers looking to build successful careers in Canada.
