An Overview of Manitoba PNP

The Manitoba PNP is the best immigration pathway designed to attract skilled workers and international graduates to Manitoba. This program helps the province meet its labor market and economic needs.

Overall, the program provides an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a new life in Canada, offering a streamlined pathway to permanent residence while supporting Manitoba’s economic and workforce needs.

The first step to immigrating to Manitoba through the MPNP is submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI). This is an online profile where candidates answer a series of questions to determine their eligibility.

Based on their responses, they receive an EOI ranking score. Those selected under the MPNP receive a provincial nomination, which can significantly speed up the process of obtaining a Canada Permanent Residency.

Six factors affect the EOI Ranking System such as:

  • Age (Maximum points: 75)
  • Language Proficiency (Maximum points: 125)
  • Education (Maximum points: 125)
  • Work Experience (Maximum points: 175)
  • Adaptability (Maximum points: 500)
  • Risk (Maximum points: 200)

On average, 80% of applications under the MPNP are processed within 8-10 months.
