Latest Express Entry draw invites 5,000 CEC candidates

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a new Express Entry draw. This was the ninth invitation round held by the department in July.

If you’ve been invited in this Express Entry latest draw, you will have 60 days to submit a complete permanent residency (PR) application to the IRCC.

Latest Express Entry Draw #307 - Results

The latest Express Entry draw held on July 31, 2024, saw ITAs being issued to 5,000 candidates under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). Invited candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 686 to be eligible.

• Rank required to be invited to apply: 5,000 or above
• Date and time of round: July 31, 2024, at 14:48:13 UTC
• CRS score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 510
• Tie-breaking rule: June 30, 2024, at 20:39:14 UTC

If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the CRS score cut-off will be based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.

Draws conducted under the Express Entry Program are held every two weeks, usually on a Wednesday. However, IRCC has followed an unusual pattern for these invitation rounds throughout 2024. Including the latest draw, the department has so far issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to 25,125 candidates across nine Express Entry draws this month.

Your chances of receiving an invitation to the upcoming Express Entry draws will entirely depend on your CRS score. The higher your score, the more your chances of gaining Canadian permanent residency.
