Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted another Express Entry draw.
On 14 February 2024, IRCC issued 3,500 invitations to candidates in a category-based Express Entry draw for Healthcare Occupations. Invited candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 422 to be eligible.
Type of Draw: Healthcare Occupations
If more than one candidate that was invited, has the lowest CRS score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they had submitted their Express Entry profile.
Candidates invited to this Express Entry draw now have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR) in their online account. This includes providing all supporting documentation.

This draw follows a General Express Entry draw that occurred yesterday on February 13 - in which 1,490 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 535 were invited to apply for Canada PR visa. So far in 2024, only one other category-based selection draw has been conducted. That draw took place on February 1 and invited 7,000 candidates with strong French language proficiency.
On May 31, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced that it had finalized a new category-based selection for Express Entry. Among the six new categories, healthcare occupations make up the largest number of eligible occupations, with 35 in total.
