The province of British Columbia has conducted a new Skills Immigration draw. This was the first BC PNP draw of May.
The latest BC PNP draw conducted on May 7, 2024, saw invitations being issued to 81 foreign skilled workers and graduates. Candidates with work experience in in-demand occupations in BC such as Childcare, Healthcare, and Tech, were invited.

Candidates invited in this latest BC PNP draw will be given 30 days to submit an application for permanent residence (PR) to the BC PNP.
Those who are not invited to apply will remain active in the pool of candidates. They can expect to be invited in the next BC PNP draw.
British Columbia conducts draws under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) every week, typically on Tuesdays. The program invites candidates under two immigration streams:
The province issues invitations based on the information provided by the candidates when applying to the BC PNP. Those with the highest scores in the BC PNP points calculator are issued an invitation to apply for permanent residence in Canada. The type of draw, stream, minimum score, and number of invitations are not published beforehand.
80% of applications under the BC PNP are processed within 8-10 months.
