Latest BC PNP draw invites 151 candidates to apply for PR

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has conducted a new Skills Immigration draw. BC usually conducts 4-5 draws every month. This was the fifth Skills Immigration draw conducted by the province in July.

Candidates invited to this latest BC PNP draw will now have 30 days to submit a complete application for permanent residency - along with the supporting documents.

Latest BC PNP Draw - Results

The latest BC PNP draw held on July 30, 2024, invited a total of 151 candidates with work experience in an in-demand occupation in BC. Invited candidates required a minimum score of 80 to be eligible for an invitation.

Candidates who did not receive an invitation in this draw, their profiles will remain active in the pool of candidates. They may receive an invitation in the next BC PNP draw. BC conducts a new draw every week - usually on a Wednesday. The next BC PNP draw is expected to be conducted on August 06, 2024.

Skills Immigration - Selection Criteria

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Skills Immigration is a pathway for skilled workers to gain permanent residency in British Columbia, Canada. To apply, candidates need a job offer from a B.C. employer and must meet specific criteria. In 2024, targeted invitations will be issued to targeted invitations to apply to the Skills Immigration streams may be based on one or more of the following factors:

  • Education - level and field of education and where it was completed.
  • Eligible professional designations in B.C.
  • Language skills.
  • Occupation.
  • Duration and skill level of work experience.
  • Wage and/or skill level of job offer.
  • Intent to live, work and settle in a specific region.
  • Strategic priorities - factors that address specific labour market needs in B.C. or support government pilot projects and initiatives.

Currently, 80% of applications under the BC PNP are being processed within 8 to 10 months.
