The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has conducted a new draw. Candidates from BC PNP’s Skills Immigration stream were invited. This was the first invitation round conducted by BC in August.
If you have been invited in this latest BC PNP draw, you will have 30 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR). If this timeframe passes, your invitation will no longer be valid.
The latest BC PNP draw was held on August 07, 2024. A total of 149 candidates from Skilled Worker, International Graduate and Entry Level & Semi-Skilled streams were invited. Candidates required a minimum score of 80 to be eligible for an invitation.

If you did not receive an invitation in this draw, your profile will remain active in the pool (for 12 months from the date of submission). The BC PNP conducts 4-5 monthly draws, usually on a Wednesday. You may get invited in the next BC PNP draw. The next BC PNP draw is projected to be conducted on August 14, 2024.
Managed by the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP), Skills Immigration draws are a key part of British Columbia's immigration process. These draws invite skilled workers, international graduates, and other qualified individuals to apply for permanent residence in the province. During a draw, those with the highest scores receive invitations to apply for nomination, which can lead to permanent residency in Canada. The draws happen regularly, and each one has different criteria depending on the province’s current needs.
On average, 80% of applications under the BC PNP are processed within 8-10 months.
