Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted its eighth Express Entry draw of the month. This time, candidates from Express Entry’s PNP-specific candidates were invited to apply for permanent residency.
If you’ve been invited in this Express Entry latest draw, you will have 60 days to submit a complete permanent residency (PR) application to the IRCC.
The Express Entry latest draw held on July 30, 2024, saw invitations being issued to 964 candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) streams. Invited candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 686 to be eligible.
Type of draw: Provincial Nominee Program
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the CRS score cut-off will be based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
Canada's Express Entry Program is a fast-track system for skilled workers who want to immigrate to Canada. It manages applications for three economic immigration programs:
Applicants create an online profile and are scored based on factors like age, education, work experience, and language skills. The highest-ranking candidates receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency. This program is popular because it offers a clear and efficient pathway to becoming a permanent resident of Canada.
Currently, 80% of applications are processed within 6 to 8 months.
