Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has invited 730 candidates in a new Express Entry draw on January 31, 2024. Candidates required a minimum CRS score of 541 to be considered for an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
Type of Draw: General
If more than one candidate that was invited, has the lowest CRS score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they had submitted their Express Entry profile.
Invitations to apply to the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), and Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) may be issued through this latest draw.

These January draws follow a busy December in which IRCC invited candidates across seven separate Express Entry draws throughout the month. Throughout 2023, IRCC conducted a total of 42 Express Entry draws. These included:
The January 31st draw came off as a surprise, as Express Entry draws are typically conducted at regular two-week intervals, on a Wednesday. The next Express Entry draw is expected to be conducted on February 07, 2024.
There is no one-size-fits-all type of profile, which is eligible for a Canada PR in an all-program Express Entry draw. Candidates applying under any of the Express Entry linked Canada PR pathways are ranked using the CRS score calculator.
The higher your CRS score, the more the chances of receiving an invitation to apply for Canada PR.
