Canadian Experience Class - Requirements

Canadian Experience Class is one of the most important immigration pathways under the Express Entry program. CEC is one of the fastest and most efficient ways to obtain permanent residency in Canada. It is specifically designed for people having Canadian work experience. Candidates must fulfill the following requirements to be eligible for the Canadian Experience Class category :-

  • At least 1 year of Canadian work experience or an equivalent part-time experience
  • If applicants are currently residing in Canada, they must have a valid temporary status (even if they are currently unemployed)
  • The work experience must be listed in one of the NOC TEER categories.

The chances of getting ITA in an Express Entry draw will entirely depend on your CRS score. The higher your CRS score, the higher your chances of getting permanent residency.
