First PEI PNP Draw of 2025 Invites Foreign Workers

The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program has conducted its latest draw to invite foreign workers and entrepreneurs. It is the first PEI PNP draw of 2025.

All the candidates who have been invited to the latest PEI PNP draw will receive a notification on their registered email, which will include the file number and instructions to apply for PR.

PEI PNP Latest Draw - Results

The PEI PNP latest draw was held on 24 January 2025. A total of 22 invitations were issued to candidates under the Labour and Express Entry stream. The latest PEI PNP draw issued invitations to individuals currently working or with confirmed job offers in PEI in the Healthcare sector.

Over the last 12 months, the Prince Edward Island PNP has issued a total of 10 invitations to Business Work Permit Entrepreneur candidates and 924 invitations to Labour & Express Entry candidates.

If you did not receive an invitation to the PEI PNP latest draw, then you should not withdraw your application from the pool. You might receive an invitation to the next PEI PNP draw.

PEI PNP - Selection Factors

The Prince Edward Island Nominee Program regularly conducts its draw to invite candidates to address the labour shortage problem in the province. All the candidates from in-demand occupations are invited to apply for Canada PR.

The province conducts its draw according to the PEI PNP schedule. Candidates have to fulfill certain criteria to be eligible to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA). The selection factors for PEI PNP are as follows:-

• Language: English or French
• Education: level and field of education and where completed
• Skill and work experience level
• Strategic priorities: attributes that would address immediate labour market needs in PEI
• Other factors relevant to employment prospects: include but are not limited to having a job offer in PEI and/or previous Canadian work experience

The next PEI PNP draw is expected to be held on 20 February 2025. Currently, 80% of applications under the PEI PNP are being processed within 8-10 months.
