First PEI draw of 2023 invites Skilled Workers and Entrepreneurs

According to the proposed PEI draw scheduled for 2023, Prince Edward Island has conducted its first invitation round for the year.

Who was invited?

A total of 223 Invitations to Apply (ITA) were issued in this draw held under the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP). Invitations were issued under PEI PNP streams including:

• Business Work Permit Entrepreneur: 7 invitations with a minimum score of 62.
• Labor & Express Entry: 216 invitations.

The January 19 PEI PNP draw is a continuation of Prince Edward Island conducting draws with higher ITAs and lower CRS scores. With the date of the Prince Edward Island PNP next draw prediction laid out, it is a clear indication that the province targets to increase the number of candidates eligible to receive a nomination under PEI PNP-managed streams.
