Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted its first Express Entry draw of the month.
Candidates invited to this Express Entry latest draw will have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR) to the IRCC. If this timeframe passes, the Invitation to Apply (ITA) will not be valid.
The Express Entry latest draw was held on September 09, 2024. A total of 911 candidates from Express Entry’s Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) stream were targeted. Invited candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 732 or above to be eligible for an invitation.
Draw No: #313
Type of draw: Provincial Nominee Program
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the CRS score cut-off will be based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
Candidates who did not get invited will remain active in the Express Entry pool for 12 months from the date of submission. Do not withdraw your application, you may receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in the next Express Entry draw.
Draws under the Express Entry Program in 2024 have followed an unusual pattern throughout 2024. For instance, in July, IRCC conducted nine Express Entry draws welcoming over 25,000 candidates to apply for permanent residence (PR). Last month in August, the department conducted five invitation rounds that invited over 10,000 candidates.
Usually, Express Entry draws are held once every two weeks. This has made it difficult to predict when the next invitation round will occur.
Currently, IRCC is conducting three types of Express Entry draws:
The chances of receiving an invitation in the upcoming Express Entry draws will entirely depend on the candidate’s CRS score. The higher the score, the more the chances of gaining Canada PR.
