Express Entry Latest Draw Invites 725 PNP Candidates

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted another Express Entry Draw. It is the first invitation round conducted by the department in March. In the previous draw, the department invited 6,500 candidates under the French language category.

In the Express Entry latest draw, IRCC issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program category. The candidates invited to this draw will now have 60 days to submit a complete Permanent Residency (PR) application.

Express Entry Latest Draw - Results

The Express Entry latest draw was held on 3 March 2025 and a total of 725 candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) category were invited to this draw. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) required to be eligible to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) is 667.

If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.

Express Entry PNP- Specific Draws in 2025

Express Entry system is a point-based immigration program that assesses the aspiring candidates’ profile based on factors such as language, age, work experience, and education. It is one of the fastest and most preferred pathways to immigrate to Canada.

The Express Entry Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws help the provinces to select skilled workers who can fulfill the economic and labour needs. For example - a province might focus on certain occupations such as IT, healthcare, or construction.

IRCC has conducted four PNP-specific draws in 2025, including the latest Express Entry Draw. So far, 2,297 candidates have been invited to apply for PR under this category.

Currently, 80% of Canada PR applications under the Express Entry program are being processed within 6 months.
