Express Entry latest draw invites 536 PNP candidates for Canada PR

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted its third Express Entry draw of the month. If you’ve been invited to the Express Entry latest draw, you will have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR) to the IRCC. If this timeframe passes, your Invitation to Apply (ITA) will not be valid.

Express Entry Latest Draw - Results

The Express Entry latest draw was held on March 17, 2025. Invitations were issued to 536 candidates across a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw. Candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 736 to be eligible for an ITA.

Draw No: 340
Type of Draw: Provincial Nominee Program

  • Number of invitations issued: 536
  • Rank required to be invited to apply: 536 or above
  • Date and time of round: March 17, 2025 at 15:33:36 UTC
  • CRS score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 736
  • Tie-breaking rule: March 12, 2025 at 14:02:14 UTC

If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.

Each province in Canada has its own selection criteria, which are usually based on labour market needs and skill shortages. Key eligibility factors include work experience, education, language proficiency, and age. Some provinces may also require a job offer or a connection to the region. Generally, receiving a Provincial Nominee (PN) from any participating province adds 600 points to your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, greatly boosting your chances of getting an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency.
