Express Entry Latest Draw Invites 400 CEC Candidates

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted its new invitation round of the month. The Express Entry latest draw was conducted to invite the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates. It is the second CEC-specific Express Entry draw of the month.

In the previous Express Entry draw under the CEC category, 500 candidates were invited. If you have been invited to the Express Entry latest draw, you have 60 days to submit your application for Canada Permanent Residency (Canada PR).

Express Entry Latest Draw - Results

The Express Entry latest draw was held on 22 October 2024. A total of 400 candidates were invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class category. Candidates are required to get a minimum Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) of 539.

If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the CRS cut-off is based on the date and time they have submitted their Express Entry profiles.

Canadian Experience Class

Canadian Experience Class is one of the most important economic immigration pathways under the Express Entry. It is a pathway designed for skilled workers who have Canadian work experience and want to become Canadian Permanent Residents. To be eligible for the Canadian Experience Class category, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:-

• At least 1 year of Canadian work experience or an equivalent part-time experience.
• If applicants are currently residing in Canada, they must have a valid temporary status (even if they are currently unemployed).
• The work experience must be listed in one of the NOC TEER categories.

If you were not invited to this draw, then your profile remains active in the Express Entry pool for 12 months from the date of submission. You may receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in the next Express Entry draw.
