The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) offers several immigration streams designed to attract skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and graduates to the province.
Key streams include the Skilled Worker stream, which targets individuals with experience in high-demand occupations, and the International Graduate stream, tailored for recent graduates from Canadian post-secondary institutions. The International Post-Graduate stream is aimed at those with advanced degrees from BC institutions. The Entry Level and Semi-Skilled Worker stream focuses on workers in specific industries like tourism and food processing.
Additionally, there’s the Healthcare Professional stream for doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals. These streams help address the labour market needs of BC, making it easier for qualified individuals to obtain permanent residency in the province.
Currently, 80% of applications under the BC PNP Skills Immigration streams are being processed within 8 to 10 months.
