British Columbia PNP

British Columbia releases its draws to invite skilled entrepreneurs and overseas immigrants. The BC PNP allows the province of British Columbia to nominate individuals for Canada PR. The PNP draw is a selection process where candidates from various streams are invited to apply for provincial nomination.

The BC PNP draw is typically conducted regularly, and candidates are selected based on their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores, work experience, and other factors. Those who receive a nomination from British Columbia PNP can then apply to the federal government for permanent residency.

Eligibility Criteria of Entrepreneur Immigration

The eligibility criteria for BC PNP entrepreneur immigration are as follows:

  • Qualified candidate’s registration score
  • A specific region in which a candidate proposes to establish a business
  • Population size of the community in which the candidate proposes to establish a business
  • Proposed business is a start-up or a purchase of an existing business
  • A business proposal is aligned with identified priority business sectors

ITA draws based on score alone for the EI Base will be held periodically, but may be limited based on targeted invitations and to maintain standard processing times.

Currently, 80% of applications under the BC PNP are being processed within 8-10 months.
