Basics on Manitoba PNP
Manitoba has several immigration programs designed to attract international talent to settle in the province. The provincial government manages its immigration through the MPNP, which handles immigration applications to the federal government. Canadian provinces cannot grant permanent resident status, but they can assist an application by issuing provincial nominations.
If you wish to benefit from a Manitoba nomination, you must register an expression of interest with the MPNP. This allows you to receive an LAA through the Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas streams.
Manitoba then ranks applicants out of 1,000 points based on their human capital factors and their connection to the province.
The highest-ranked profiles are then invited to apply through frequently held provincial draws.
