BC PNP latest draw invites 154 foreign workers, graduates, and entrepreneurs

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has conducted back-to-back draws for candidates waiting for an invitation in the BC PNP pool. The first one was conducted for Skills Immigration candidates and the second for Entrepreneur Immigration candidates.

If you have been invited in these BC PNP latest draw, you will have 30 days to submit a complete permanent residence (PR) application to the BC PNP. If this timeframe passes, your Invitation to Apply (ITA) will no longer be valid.

The BC PNP latest draws held on August 13, 2024, saw invitations being issued to 154 skilled workers & international graduates, and entrepreneurs.

Skills Immigration invitations

Targeted invitations in this Skills Immigration draw were issued based on the following selection factors:

• Education - level and field of education and where it was completed
• Eligible professional designations in B.C.
• Language skills
• Occupation
• Duration and skill level of work experience
• Wage and/or skill level of job offer
• Intent to live, work and settle in a specific region
• Strategic priorities - factors that address specific labour market needs in B.C. or support government pilot projects and initiatives

Entrepreneur Immigration invitations

Targeted invitations in this Entrepreneur Immigration draw were issued based on the following selection factors:

• The qualified candidate’s registration score
• The specific region in which a candidate proposes to establish a business
• The population size of the community in which the candidate proposes to establish a business
• Whether the proposed business is a start-up or a purchase of an existing business
• Whether the business proposal is aligned with identified priority business sectors

If you did not receive an invitation in these BC PNP latest draws, your profile will remain active in the pool of candidates - for 12 months from the date of submission. You can expect to receive an invitation in the next BC PNP draws. The British Columbia PNP conducts 4-5 draws every month, usually on a Tuesday.

The next BC PNP draw is projected to be conducted on August 20, 2024.
