Alberta PNP invites 1,631 candidates across 15 draws in December

The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), also known as Alberta PNP, conducted multiple draws this December, holding a total of fifteen rounds and inviting candidates from various pathways.

If you received an invitation in these latest Alberta PNP draws, you must send a copy of your invitation letter along with the required documents to the AAIP within two weeks. Failing to do so within the specified timeframe will result in the invitation becoming invalid.

Alberta PNP Draws In December

The latest Alberta PNP draws held in December saw invitations being issued to 1,631 candidates. The minimum score of the invited candidates ranged between 43 and 65.

The province conducts 3-5 draws every month, but the information on the Alberta PNP draws conducted is posted one week later.

Alberta Express Entry Streams

The Alberta Express Entry Streams are a part of the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) aimed at attracting skilled workers to the province. This program works through the Express Entry system, which is Canada’s federal immigration program for skilled workers.

Under the Alberta Express Entry Streams, candidates who are already in the federal Express Entry pool can be selected for provincial nomination. There are two main streams:

• Alberta Express Entry Stream: It allows Alberta to nominate candidates from the Express Entry pool who have the skills needed in the province’s labour market.

• Alberta Opportunity Stream: This stream targets foreign workers already living and working in Alberta on a temporary work permit, helping them transition to permanent residency.

To be eligible, candidates need to meet certain criteria, including having a valid job offer from an Alberta employer. Being nominated by Alberta increases the chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency in Canada.
