The results of the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) draws in August is out. The province conducted two draws inviting candidates across AAIP’s Express Entry Stream.
Based on available profile information in the federal Express Entry portal, the AAIP may send an invitation to apply to the program through the latest Alberta PNP draw - depending on the selection factors or pathway design.
The latest Alberta PNP draws were held on August 13 and 27, 2024. A total of 82 invitations were issued to candidates under the Alberta Express Entry Stream. Candidates with work experience in in-demand Healthcare jobs in Alberta were targeted.

If you have been invited in these latest Alberta PNP draws, you must send a copy of your invitation letter - along with the requested information to the AAIP within 2 weeks of receiving the invitation.
You may be able to apply through the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) - Dedicated Heatlhcare Pathway if you have work experience in one of the following in-demand Healthcare occupations in Alberta:
NOC 31102 - Physicians
NOC 31301 - Registered Nurses (RNs)
NOC 32101 - Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
NOC 31302 - Nurse Practitioners (NPs)
NOC 31303 - Physician Assistants
NOC 31203 - Occupational Therapist
NOC 31202 - Physiotherapist
NOC 41300 - Clinical Social Worker
NOC 31200 - Psychologist
In 2024, up to 30% of available Express Entry allocations will go to Healthcare professionals under the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway.
