Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted another Express Entry draw. Just the day before yesterday, the department issued invitations to 1,613 candidates across a PNP-specific draw.
Today, IRCC invited candidates under Express Entry’s Canadian Experience Class (CEC). If you have been invited in this latest Express Entry draw, you will have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR) to the IRCC. If this timeframe passes, your Invitation to Apply (ITA) will no longer be valid.
The latest Express Entry draw was held on October 09, 2024. A total of 500 ITAs were issued to candidates under Express Entry’s Canadian Experience Class (CEC) program. Invited candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 539 - to be eligible for an invitation.
Draw No: #317
Type of draw: Canadian Experience Class
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the CRS score cut-off will be based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is one of the three programs managed under the Express Entry. To be eligible, you must:
If you were not invited in the latest Express Entry draw, your profile will remain active in the Express Entry pool for 12 months from the date of submission. Do not withdraw your application, you may receive an ITA in the next Express Entry draw.
Draws under IRCC’s Express Entry Program have followed an unusual pattern throughout 2024. Usually, the department issues invitations every two weeks - on a Wednesday.
For instance, in July, IRCC conducted nine Express Entry draws welcoming over 25,000 candidates to apply for permanent residence (PR). In August, the department conducted five invitation rounds that invited over 10,000 candidates. On the other hand, last month in September, IRCC conducted only 3 Express Entry draws. This has made it difficult to predict when the next Express Entry draw will be conducted.
According to our experts, the next Express Entry draw is expected to be conducted on October 23, 2024.
